The 2026-27 edition of Lindy's Pro Basketball has 30 team previews, plus nine feature stories: "Scopin' the NBA" (Roland Lazenby recaps major off-season stories*), "The New Big Men" (Michael Bradley discusses the evolution of how big men play in the NBA), "How to Win in the NBA" (Henry Abbott explains "basketball analytics"), "The Greatest Knick Ever?" (Lazenby makes the case for Earl "The Pearl" Monroe), "Keeping the Faith" (Graham Dunn profiles Tyler Tanner), "NBA Report Card" (Lazenby grades each team's off-season moves), "A Look Ahead" (Carl Berman previews the 2027 NBA Draft), "NBA Fantasy Guide (Mike Ashley gives tips to fantasy basketball participants), and "A Look Back" (Lazenby examines Red Auerbach's legacy).

I wrote five team previews and sidebar articles this year: Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder, and San Antonio Spurs. My sidebar articles discuss, respectively, Dusty May's big jump from college to the pros, Draymond Green's legacy, Joe Dumars' return to his Louisiana roots, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's free throw drawing prowess, and Dylan Harper's championship pedigree.

This is the 18th year that I have contributed to Lindy's Pro Basketball dating back to 2005 (with interruptions for the 2011 lockout, my law school attendance in 2014-15, and 2020 because Lindy's Pro Basketball was not published in the wake of COVID-19). As always, I thank Roland Lazenby for the opportunity to contribute to Lindy's Pro Basketball, and I am proud to be associated with the finished product.

If you do not see the magazine in any stores in your area, you can order a copy online.

*--I am listed on the Contents page as a co-author of Scopin' the NBA, but I did not participate in writing the article this season, so Lazenby deserves full credit.
